Gi & Belt

Guess is time for something different in my blog. Decided to put this up just to make my blog more lively. Here it goes.

Chat with Ee Ling today and asked her about her grading. She was kinda confident on her grading and eventually she asked me how much will the uniform and the belt cost. One thing she concerned about was the belt. Apparently, the belt awarded for passing the grading was written in english name and she wanted it to be in chinese. And so I took some picture of my belt and show her how is it look like in english name.

This is the picture I shown her. Cant deny that it really look nice with english name too. But Ee Ling blames it to my photographing skill. She said ofcourse it look nice if I take picture in this angle. =P

Here is from the other side of the belt, can see my big surname there, but I prefered King. Anyway, it still look nice right? This belt is not my original belt which I am still wearing it now, it is awarded by sir after the last grading.

This is my most recent uniform. Been wearing it for the past few months. Guess my sweat is really poisonous as the uniform is not really white colour now.

The back of my uniform. Not that I wanted to put the word 'Singapore Taekwondo Federation', but putting it allows me to wear this uniform for any Taekwondo function in Singapore.

My new Home

For your information, I have moved to a different hostel starting this semester. Here are some pictures of my lovely room here. The room is huge compare to the previous one I stayed. Enjoy.

Taekwondo 'Gang' Dinner 2008

Well it has been 2 years since I left the Taekwondo coaching field. It has been 2 years since I ran out of Malaysia. But glad to say that, we, once were the Taekwondo instructors in PJ, still meet up for dinner. Our so called 'annual' dinner.

Let me tell you their stories.

This is Johan. 25 this year. His name is Johan Adam Wong. When you pronounce 'Adam', you have to say it this way "aaah-daaam" because his full name is actually Johan bin Adam Wong. He is a mix, Malay and Chinese. The most senior Taekwondo instructor among us. Always proud with his jumping backthrust kick, as he said, not all fat people(like him) can do it. XP

This is Shamil, the darkest among us. 22 this year, studying in UUM currently, studying what, I dont know. He was a good fighter during school time, even now he represents his University for Taekwondo tournament. Love to joke alot, especially to tease Johan. The only weakness he has is, too dark. Had to on the flash function in order to see him in the picture.

This is Terry Foo(The one sitting on the right, please). 26 this year, the most senior of us in terms of age. Besides me, he was the only chinese among all the Taekwondo coaches, but too bad he cant speak mandarin too. Very popular among the girls when we were coaching Sri Aman school. =P

This is Ling Jinn. She wasn't Taekwondo instructor like us. So why was she there? She was the Chairperson of Sri Aman Taekwondo club 2 years ago. A very responsible leader and also a very hardworking Taekwondo member. All our outing was planned by her so really do appreciate her afford to make us stay in contact. Ohya, she is 19 this year.

This is Ling Shinn, Ling Jinn's younger sister. 17 this year(wahaha SPM year >=D ). Very close to us all the Taekwondo instructors. Our outing always have to end early because of her. =P

This was the bear who sit beside us when we were having our seafood in Tropicana Seafood Restaurant. Suppose to be a decoration i think. XP

Flowers and her

Went to the botanical garden in Putrajaya today (She drove me there!!!! as her car practice). Wasn't like what we thought there, there were no flowers but only trees. Those pictures are the only flower we could find. As what she said, even the flowers in the park beside her house is prettier than them. Well I'll just stick up whatever pictures we took.
